WANA (Apr 15) – In a series of high-level diplomatic engagements last night, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Bahrain to discuss recent regional and international developments.

During the calls, Araghchi outlined the Islamic Republic of Iran’s positions on key issues and informed them of the recent round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States held in Muscat. He also briefed him on the upcoming round of talks, which, like the first, will be hosted by Oman’s foreign ministry, but this time in a European country.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan thanked Araghchi for the update and welcomed the continuation of dialogue. He expressed hope that the negotiations would yield positive outcomes not only for Iran but for the entire region.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein also praised Iran’s commitment to diplomacy and constructive dialogue as a means to resolve regional issues. He welcomed the initiative and commended Oman’s role in facilitating the process, expressing optimism that such engagement by all parties could lead to beneficial results for the broader Middle East.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, emphasized the importance of diplomacy in strengthening regional and international peace, stability, and security. He voiced support for continued dialogue and expressed hope for a favorable outcome from the talks.

On another night, Araghchi also held separate phone conversations with the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, and Kuwait, discussing the same matters in detail.
